For 32 years, Beverly has worked in the Human Service and Social Service field. Beverly holds an Associate Degree from Pitt Community College in Greenville NC. Bachelor of Science from Shaw University in Raleigh, NC, Master of Education from University of Dayton, and a PhD in Public Service Leadership from Capella University.
Beverly has served on several boards and received numerous awards and honors over the past 32 years. The last 5 awards have been from 2013-2020 from Columbus OH. Beverly has educated and presented at several major conferences and workshops locally and nationally as a keynote speaker, guest speaker and presenter on topics and issues such as HIV/AIDS, Dialysis, Dual Diagnoses (Mental Health and Addictions), and Success of Being a Social Worker, Overcoming Barriers to Success, Small Business Startup, Self-Esteem, and Women Health Care in rural areas. On March 15, 2016, Beverly’s world was shattered.

We are also here to uplift and empower our brothers. FLYSister Circle believes in empowering women and equipping them with the skills they need, that will help these beautiful sisters realize their potential and the preempt inequities that exist for women & men in today’s world.
Confidence levels remain low in women and men who are experiencing some type of abuse, disrespect and feeling worthless when it comes to the way society sees them.
FLY SISTER CIRCLE: Seek to change this narrative by offering counseling, programs, support, mentoring and resources to help women and men realize their potential and learn how to love and value themselves.
