BEVERLY LOST EVERYTHING.

Things got so bad, Beverly felt that she was not going to survive. Beverly decided to turn things around and use her negative situation and experience to be a voice and weave hope back into her heart and other women she met. Beverly realized the one thing that she lost which was exceedingly small but made a major difference was her (ATTITUDE).

Beverly had to adjust her ATTITUDE by refusing to let her circumstances break her. Beverly learned how to reflect on her journey and appreciated how far she has gone. Beverly also realized what took her years to build was taken away from her overnight, she accepted the loss and moved on. Beverly wants to help women realize that what truly defines them is not their circumstances or the clothes they were wearing but” HOW WELL THEY RISE AFTER FALLING “. Beverly allows herself to be the link that they could connect to other women by giving them the support they truly need.

Today, Beverly knows she wants to succeed as much, as she wants to breathe. Beverly now realizes that problems are not stop signs, they are guidelines to help her. Today. Beverly can see her dreams becoming reality. Beverly now knows in life there are no mistakes, only lessons. Beverly knows that growth is a process of trials, errors, and experimentation. Beverly has learned from her failures as well as her success. Beverly now knows that the only school a person does not graduate from or quit is the (INFORMAL SCHOOL OF LIFE). The only time that school ends is when a person dies.

Beverly can honestly say she is a woman of strength. Beverly strength developed from her faith in her journey that she allows God to guide her on. So today her strength and faith has allowed her to be a voice for all women especially the ones who are incarcerated and the ones who are free but still struggle with barriers, challenges, and personal issues.

“NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU REVISIT THE PAST IT’S NOTHING NEW TO SEE OR FIND. LET’S LIVE IN THE MOMENT”.
