When I was younger, I was fond of Ladybugs. Ladybugs are unique creatures that are bright and full of color. One thing about Ladybugs is that we can tell them apart by the number and kind of spots they have. With women, we can also tell them apart by the way they carry themselves and their spots (Behaviors and Attitudes).
F.L.Y. S.I.B.S will focus on helping these women with changing some of their spots (Behaviors and Attitudes) by making them aware of their choices, educating and providing them with solutions to the issues they may face daily, also providing them with support. I want every woman in America to be a ladybug and to be identifiable by her spots which include:
Talking like a lady
Walking like a lady
Sitting like a lady
Dressing like a lady
Acting like a lady
Thinking like a lady
Most importantly LOVING HERSELF no matter what she is dealing with or experiencing.
The definition of a LADY is a woman of high social position; a woman who is polite, well-mannered, and well refined. Being polite, refined, and well-mannered comes with a lot of hard work. From the challenges, life lessons, struggles, and experiences that I have overcome, I can honestly say that today, I am a voice. I genuinely love the Ladybug I have become. So now, it’s my turn to give back, educate and support other S.I.B.S. through the use of this blog.
